Reproductive justice is the right of every person to make decisions about their body, sexuality, and reproduction with dignity and support, including the right to have children, not have children, and to raise families in safe, healthy communities.
Reproductive justice recognizes that personal reproductive choices are shaped by systems of power—including racism, sexism, economic inequality, ableism, immigration status, and access to healthcare—and that true freedom requires not just legal rights, but the social, economic, and environmental conditions that make those choices real.
