About

RAAD is a group of Delaware non-profit organizations that advances reproductive justice and bodily autonomy statewide through education and collective action.

Our Pillars

Education

Education is at the heart of RAAD’s mission. Our coalition provides individuals and communities across the state with comprehensive and accessible information, community events, and digital resources. We aim to deepen understanding of reproductive justice by empowering and equipping individuals with the tools to advocate for the principles of reproductive justice for themselves and their larger communities.

Advocacy

RAAD mobilizes Delawareans to push for systemic change in reproductive policies and practices in our state. We collaborate with individuals, community leaders, and advocacy organizations to increase awareness and engagement around key reproductive justice issues, amplify local voices and stories, and strengthen existing grassroots efforts to create meaningful social change.

Policy

RAAD is committed to pushing back against attempts to strip away access to reproductive healthcare, infringe on reproductive autonomy, and undermine the rights and dignity of individuals to make informed choices about their bodies and lives. We work with elected officials, lawmakers, and state agencies to develop and implement legislation that protects and expands Delawarean’s access and right to reproductive justice.

Healing and Empowerment

At the core of our work is the vision of an equitable, supportive, and inclusive state that fosters the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of all community members — regardless of background. We seek to acknowledge and center the disparities and injustices marginalized communities experience in accessing reproductive healthcare and exercising bodily autonomy and provide a space for individuals to heal from the impacts of systemic inequities.
